It has an attitude about it that just makes you want one just like it. The paint doesn&#8217;t have to be perfect, the interior can be worn and it can have tons of other issues but it still is just cool. Saturday I came across this GTI that just made me stare at it. Had to walk around it a few times and look it all over. I personally love these cars over the show quality cars just plastered with expensive parts. If something is scratched just toss it. Well this has made its way into the automotive world. People think that if there is something wrong with it that you just have to trade it in for a new one. This has led to a small group saving those cars that have been forgotten. I&#8217;m talking about the old school bimmers, the Honda EF&#8217;s, older Supras, MKI and MKII VW&#8217;s, etc. When you see these cars all freshened up by a guy that has scraped together the cash to bring back these cars to their former glory it just makes you smile. We sit at meets with rows of newer Honda&#8217;s and VW&#8217;s but then roll in a couple old school cars and they drag every pair of eyes through the parking lot with them. Currently more and more of these cars are being saved from neglected lives which is a trend I hope continues. You can have one that is just moderately clean, kinda low, with some knock-off wheels and it will break necks from people trying to figure out what the hell you are driving as they sit in their modern eco-safe cars that put you to sleep.
